Title: Linux Admin

Location – NYC, Locals will get the job first.

Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities:

·  Maintain and support bare-metal, virtual and AWS Linux environments.

·  Incident management and triage using the internal ticketing system

·  Follow security procedures as outlined in the company policies

·  Responsible for documenting and knowledge transfer of system configurations development and revisions.

·  Deploy code and config changes to various development and production enviromnments

·  Perform routine audits of systems and software

·  Install and configure new hardware and software

·  Answer technical queries and assist users

·  Authentication and identity management

·  Work with Storage technologies (NAS, SAN), Load Balancers from the system perspective

·  Introduce and integrate new technologies

·  Support, build and launch e-commerce sites

·   

Required Skills:

·  Excellent problem-solving skills

·  7+ years senior level Linux systems administration experience (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred)

·  2+ years AWS experience

·  Strong networking and system security experience

·  Perl or other scripting experience

·  Experience with Ansible or other configuration management technologies

·  Apache + modperl setup and maintenance experience, ideally in an environment with multiple sites

·  CI/CD experience, Jenkins preferred

·  Monitoring and logging systems configuration experience – Nagios, Grafana, Sumo Logic or others

·  Strong knowledge of Git or other distributed version control system

·  Strong interpersonal communication skills: the ability to effectively assist others with the use and application of our systems when necessary.

·  Forward thinking and technology curious a huge plus

Nice to Have Skills:

·  CDN experience (Akamai)

·  Direct PHP/Drupal experience a plus

·  MySQL, Alfresco

·  Virtualization: VMWare, Red Hat, Citrix, etc.

·  NetScaler or other load-balancing experience
