Technical requirements :

• 6+ Years of core DB experience with  Hive, HDFS and Oracle
• Must have exposure on big data bases /Data modeling design and development
• Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
• At least   2 end to end project delivery SDLC exposure
• Design develop, implement, configure and document current and future Hadoop infrastructure
• Good Exposure on Data Modeling ( Conceptual, logical and Physical)
• Good hands-on creating Database, schemas and Hive Tables ( external and Internal) with various file formats ( Avro,  text, Orc and parquet etc)
• Experience  in SQL and PLSQL/HiveQL along strong Performance tuning knowledge
• Good exposure on Migration tools on Jenkin and Jenkin etc.
• Develop tools for automated build test deployment and management of the platform
• Work closely with infrastructure, network, database, business intelligence and application teams to ensure business applications are readily available and performing within agreed upon service levels
• Database lock, space management, export and import of the database, performance tuning at DB and apps Level
• Continuously improve integration and delivery systems
• Perform data formatting involves cleaning up the data.
• Assess the suitability and quality of candidate data sets and Data analysis capabilities will be plus
• Exposure on Any NO SQL DB like Mongo dB will be plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to work independently , work with business to gather requirements, prepare technical specification documents
• Adhere to internal processes and tools to deliver projects, programs
• Participate in regular meetings and provide status updates
• Ability to work with distributed teams
• Must be self-motivated with strong team orientation and the ability to learn quickly
• Must be organized and capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines
