Role: Java Developer
Location: San Diego, CA / Remote Initially

Notes: 9+ Year profile with SQL Server, Git/ Subversion, Linux, Unit testing, (Confluence/Jira/Google Suite)

Description:

• 5+ years’ experience as a hands-on Software engineer in Java with SQL Server database in Agile environment; 
• Degree in Engineering, Computer, Information Systems or related; 
• Experienced in working with Git and Subversion 
• Experienced with Linux, both GUI and command-line shells 
• Comfortable with .NET and Windows is a desired skill set 
• Strong communication skills, especially when working in a remote setting 
• Experienced with Confluence, Jira, and Google Suite of applications 
• Strong fundamentals of algorithm, arrays, data structures, OOPS; 
• Analyzing and disseminating technical requirements to peer developers, testers; 
• Unit testing using automated unit test frameworks; 
• Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning; 
• Conducting configuration of own work with experience in CI/CD tools; 
• Basic knowledge of estimation techniques; 
• Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality;
