Summary:

• Polished Senior Business Analyst with a an extensive Pharma background – understanding of clinical testing process and regulatory aspects for Product Related Claims. Thorough understanding of HIPPA and PI (PATIENT Information).

 

• Presentations and Status Reports to “C” level executives. A seasoned professional able to speak to the key milestones for this multi-year project. Explaining the necessary help to manage changes in timeline, budget and/or resources to meet the needs of stakeholders, etc.
• Clinical Claims Management Initiative to globally leverage technology.
• Things are done manually and ELC Beauty would like to digitalize them, phase 1 has commenced.
• China claims, local claims, how they are done.
• Professional IT with expertise, background in claims who knows products and claims. What they are, how they work, good understanding of claims as it relates to products.

The Research & Development Team  ELC Beauty is seeking a polished Senior Software Business Analyst with a technical background (some prior software development experience) to help implement technology solutions by gathering and managing technical specifications.

Position Summary: Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. Analyzes requirements from the business; constructs workflow charts and diagrams; studies system capabilities; writes specifications. Recommends controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures. Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.

Job Requirements/Skills and Experience

• Experience with product testing processes such as clinical, safety, regulatory, toxicology is a plus
• Very proficient in communicating with senior business management.
• Should have experience with business process design – to help business partners effectively design their processes while leveraging the benefits of the technical infrastructure available.
• Must be proficient in writing functional specifications with a high level of detail.
• Very strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of data models and ability to write SQL queries and run reports preferred.
• Strong Inter-Personal skills including: Able to interact and communicate effectively, must be able to express ideas in individual and group situations confidently.
• Ability to work in a multi-site environment where team members may be in various locations
• Understanding of systems engineering concepts, including ability to quickly learn what applications are being utilized, what new possible outcomes can be achieved through current platforms, and what the latest technology offers
• Strong analytical skills to interpret and translate business needs into application and operational requirements
• Define, organize, maintain, and deliver functional and data requirements
• Use business and product requirements to help build out technical specifications
• Help define needs and recommend solutions to build desired user-centered functionality
• Coordinate and collaborate with product managers, UX designers & developers to ensure requirements are understood and defined, enabling the software team can build against those requirements
• Document and maintain business rules
• Use requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, and deployment
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and JIRA
• Experience working with Computer Systems Validation in a regulated environment for GxP compliance is a plus
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Education: Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline
